In a recent interview with the hosts of The Riv and Landin Show, former WWE and UFC superstar Ken Shamrock called CM Punk a “spoiled brat” for walking out on WWE. He also talks about Punk in terms of him entering MMA, how similar UFC and WWE are politically, Triple H’s beef with him, and more!
Shamrock discusses CM Punk on the program. When asked about his thoughts on Punk possibly beginning a run in MMA, he said that he thinks Punk has “no chance” if he begins his career with UFC. Shamrock also believes that Punk should start at the bottom of the totem pole because of his lack of experience in the octagon.
“The World’s Most Dangerous Man” then calls CM Punk a “spoiled brat” for bailing on World Wrestling Entertainment just because he didn’t get what he felt he deserved from WWE management. He even labeled Punk’s condition in medical terms, saying he suffers from, “Spoiled Brat Syndrome.”
Shamrock goes on to talk about the behind-the-scenes politics of WWE and UFC, saying that both are similar to an extent. He feels like they both refuse to listen to what the paying fans want, and they merely present to them the cards that they believe will make money.
Over the last year or so, Shamrock has expressed an interest in returning to the professional wrestling business. He supposedly has reached out to WWE in hopes of a return, but has gotten no where with the company. He claims the one holding him back from coming back is Triple H, due to a vendetta “the Game” has against him.
Shamrock claims the WWE COO does not like him because of how many times he had to put Shamrock over during the Attitude Era. Shamrock then adds that Triple H has already had a disdain for putting people over, especially those who he feared would cut in front of any kind of push he had.
Shamrock expressed that he would still love to return to the business and the WWE, claiming that he only left in 1999 due to a family incident. He the said that working for Vince McMahon is easier than working for UFC President Dana White. His biggest complaint about White is that he is incapable of handling and controlling his talent in the UFC.
