This is one of the stranger stories you’ll read today.
Former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion Kane has become known for his corporate ties over the past couple of years, being the right-hand man of The Authority and protecting WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. But it turns out, Kane is quite the fine-living aficionado outside of his WWE endeavors.
“Every time I go there I’m, like, ‘Man, I don’t want to sell this place,’” Jacobs says. “It’s so nice and private.”
The 6,924-square-foot home sits on a hill at the end of a quarter-mile-long driveway that climbs about 250 feet to the hilltop, Jacobs estimates. The home, which features a koi pond and swimming pool, is surrounded by private woods with trails for biking, four-wheeling, and horseback riding.
Of course, for someone who has wrestled as long as he has, luxury is important.
“The downstairs is where the current WWE director of operations truly asserts his authority. The finished basement features a game room where Jacobs has a poker table, foosball table, pool table, and wet bar to help him relax when he’s not engaged in local community events, attending to family duties, or defending current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.”
He also is including his massive garage/gym in the sale:
When not in the ring, Jacobs must keep in shape to ensure his chokeslams stay lethal. So the former title belt holder built a detached 2,400-square-foot garage that doubles as a full-blown gym. Back in the day, Jacobs, 47, could bench press 525 pounds, although he says he’s now less focused on “lifting heavy.”
As with most things in real estate, the gym equipment is “negotiable” in the sale. Jacobs says he’ll miss the gym for his early morning workouts.
Pictures of the house and more from the piece can be found here. The house is listed for $800,000.
