A match between Kane and Bray Wyatt was confirmed for SummerSlam Monday night on RAW. After The Wyatt Family attacked Brodus Clay, Bray Wyatt again told Kane to “follow the buzzards.”
Kane then appeared on the Titantron and told Wyatt that he is STILL in fact the Devil’s favorite demon. He then told Wyatt that he would understand why he is still called that when he faces him at SummerSlam on August 18th. Kane also said that they would be facing each other in a “ring of fire,” teasing that their match will be an Inferno Match.
WWE.com then confirmed that a match between the two men will take place. However, the WWE did not confirm that the match would be an Inferno Match.
Kane has been involved in every Inferno Match the WWE has ever produced. The last time an Inferno Match aired on WWE programming, the year was 2006 and “The Big Red Machine” defeated MVP by setting him ablaze. We will keep you updated as to if this bout will in fact be an Inferno Match once more information becomes available.
