TNA President Dixie Carter announced via Twitter Wednesday afternoon that former WWE and TNA Champion Jeff Hardy will return to TNA this Sunday at their annual Slammiversary pay-per-view event. Carter tweeted…

The last time Jeff Hardy competed in a TNA ring was on April 11th on IMPACT WRESTLING LIVE!, where he lost  to current TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bully Ray in a “Full Metal Mayhem” match. It is uncertain as to what role Hardy will play during Sunday’s event, but there will be some sort of announcement regarding his return Thursday, May 30th on TNA’s IMPACT WRESTLING program, which will air on Spike TV at a new time, 9pm ET.
