WWE superstar Jack Swagger returns to court next week, June 25th, to stand trial for his DUI arrest that took place back in February. As we previously reported, Swagger was arrested on February 19th in Gulfsport, MS. Swagger had just left a Smackdown taping in Biloxi, MS when he was pulled over.
Swagger had just returned to the WWE one week prior, and it was believed that he was being pushed for a possible World Heavyweight Championship run. City prosecutor Kirk Clark previously told the Associated Press that he was pushing for the maximum sentence against Swagger, which is two days behind bars and the completion of a “victim-impact” course. Swagger was charged for possession of marijuana, driving over the speed limit, and driving impaired on his first DUI offense.
