David Jones, of The Patriot News of Central Pennsylvania, has published a story stating that former WWE superstar Gene Snitsky recently worked security detail for New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez. Snitsky was one of five different men on Rodriguez’s security team in Reading, Pennsylvania Monday night.

Rodriguez is currently playing a three-game stint for the Trenton Thunder. This is part of his rehabilitation and strive to make his return to the New York Yankees following his off-season hip surgery.

Jones reports, “On Monday night, the club invited a 5-man security detail to follow A-Rod around just in case some wise guy got brave. Among them was Wyomissing High principal Corey Jones, a ripped-up former Shippensburg University baseball player; and Gene Snitsky, a former WWE wrestler (2004-09), known simply as “Snitsky” and a University of Missouri football player.”

You can see a video of Snitsky being interviewed before the game below.
