Former ECW and WWE Champion Rob Van Dam returned to the WWE’s main roster Sunday night at the Money In The Bank Pay-Per-View. “Mr. Monday Night” was the first entrant in the WWE Championship “Money in the Bank” Ladder Match to be introduced, and was one of the biggest fan “pops” of the night.

The 2013 edition of Money In The Bank was held in Philadelphia, PA, the original home of Rob Van Dam during his ECW days. Van Dam was met with a chorus of cheers and “RVD” chants throughout the night, even before the first match began. “The Whole F’n Show” would not even make his first appearance until the last match of the evening, but nevertheless, the Philly crowd was hot for “Mr. Pay-Per-View.”

Van Dam is currently signed to what is rumored to be a one year contract with the WWE, working a similar schedule to fellow part-timer and former World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho. Although he will not be traveling full-time and will only be working specific dates, he is scheduled for the following shows in July:

– July 15th – Monday Night Raw (Brooklyn, NY)
– July 16th – SmackDown Tapings (Providence, RI)
– July 22nd – Monday Night Raw (Austin, TX)
– July 23rd – Monday Night Raw Tapings (Laredo, TX)
– July 24th – SmackDown Tapings (Corpus Christi, TX)
– July 25th – SmackDown Tapings (Houston, TX)
