According to a report from PWInsider.com, a fan hopped the security railing following the Sept. 22 edition of “Monday Night Raw” and was escorted out of the arena. The report claims the man risked being carried out by security to get his hands on former WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena.

While some would think that a fan would only hop the railing to attack someone, this was apparently not the case in this situation. Cena was making his usual trip around the ring treating fans following the program when the fan decided to hop over and try to embrace the former champion.

Security would quickly step in and apprehend the fan before he could get his arms around the leader of the Cenation. However, Cena, recognizing the fan’s true intentions, did rush over to give the fan a high-five before security could get the fan away from ringside.

Editor’s Note:
Ballsy move fan. I dunno if I would ever risk arrest to hug someone.
