NXT Stars Backstage at “Monday Night Raw” Tonight

According to a report by PWInsider.com, several big name NXT stars are backstage for the Sept. 22 edition of “Monday Night Raw.”

NXT Champion Adrian Neville, Tyler Breeze and Sami Zayn are all at the FedExForum in Memphis for tonight’s show.

The trio were last seen on “Raw” competing in a tag team where Zayn and Neville defeated Breeze and Tyson Kidd on Sept. 8.

Rumors have been circulating over the possibility of WWE bringing up some of their NXT guys to the main roster. That story was put into overdrive when WWE’s Twitter account teased their arrival by saying “The Next Generation” would appear on o9/22/14.

It now looks like that aforementioned tweet had to do with the unveiling of a new gameplay trailer for the “WWE 2K15” video game and not NXT.

While the trailer has made its rounds via IGN.com, a different trailer could air on “Raw” featuring NXT stars in the game.

Editor’s Note

Having Neville, Breeze and Zayn compete in a match shortly after the trailer would be a good way to continue endorsing the brand and building the names behind it. You never know.
