A new video feature on WWE.com has provided more evidence that AJ Lee may be done with WWE. As previously reported, many believe that Lee may have finished her tenure with the company at WWE “TLC” on Dec. 14.

In a recent backstage video following the live edition of “Smackdown” on Dec. 16, Divas Champion Nikki Bella mentioned Lee while talking with Bryon Saxton. Bella said that she is happy, because she put AJ Lee away, “once and for all.”

Rumors have hinted at Lee being done before 2015 since her return in June. With CM Punk, her husband, leaving the company in January, then being fired in July, work conditions for Lee have had to have been awkward during 2014. She remained a major player in the Divas Championship picture, winning the title three times over the last three years, solidifying herself as one of the most successful female talents to ever grace the squared-circle.

Lee will go down as the longest reigning Divas Champion since the title was created in 2010, who held the strap for almost a year before losing it to Paige on April 7. If Lee is done with WWE, she’ll be remembered for her contributions to the profession, as well as being the wife of the man behind the biggest story of 2014, CM Punk.

Editor’s Note:
AJ Lee is awesome. Period. Loves the business, very beautiful, and can work in the ring with anyone…even Cameron…and Cameron is TERRIBLE. I wish her and Punk the best in everything they set out to do in the future. Thank you for your time in the ring, Mr. and Mrs. Brooks.
