F4Wonline.com is reporting that Dixie Carter claims TNA’s recent releases were to make the company “stronger.”

Carter is said to have addressed the TNA locker room about the company’s current status before Thursday’s “Destination X” edition of IMPACT WRESTLING went live. During her pep-talk with the talent, the TNA president claimed that everything within the company is fine and that they should not listen to any rumors or ill-tempered comments made about TNA’s well-being.

Rumors have stated that the company has been letting talent go because of severe financial struggles. Many wrestlers, including top on-air talent like Hulk Hogan, have been reportedly been getting paid as much as an entire month late. Carter told TNA’s current roster that there have been many misunderstandings in regards to why so many people have been released or not re-signed, claiming that the real reason has been to make their promotion stronger.

However, ProWrestling.net is reporting that Carter also stated that more budget cuts could be coming. Carter claimed that a lot of TNA’s financial woes have come from the money they spent to produce all of their One Night Only PPVs this year, and all of the talent was warned that everyone’s position is under evaluation.
