Dixie Carter claims negotiations between TNA and SpikeTV are still happening. As we previously reported, it has been announced through TMZ that SpikeTV has cancelled TNA’s flagship program, “IMPACT WRESTLING!” However, Carter went to Twitter soon after the news went public to try and save face for TNA Wrestling.

Carter sent the following tweet out about 14 hours after TMZ broke the story,

According to Carter, who was called into an emergency meeting over the weekend, negotiations are on-going between the two parties, and a decision hasn’t been made yet. However, other reports claim SpikeTV is completely done with TNA and now the wrestling organization that is widely looked at as the second largest promotion in Sports Entertainment is searching for a new television network to call home.

Former TNA talent such as Kevin Nash have chimed in on the situation, saying that they wish TNA the best and hope that they can get another TV deal somewhere. WrestlingRumors.net will keep you posted as this story continues to develop.

Editor’s Note:
If they don’t get a TV deal, they’re done.
