At WrestleMania XXX, Cesaro won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, last eliminating Big Show. In the bout, he would deliver his patented “Cesaro Swing” to then tag team partner Jack Swagger. A split between the two was teased beforehand, and kick-started at “The Show of Shows.”

Cesaro was extremely over come the “Monday Night Raw” after WrestleMania XXX, even more so when he aligned himself with Paul Heyman that same night. The alignment officially ended the partnership with Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter. While the crowd still cheered Cesaro that night, cheers would slowly change to boos due to the fact that he aligned himself with Paul Heyman, the one behind the one in 21-1 at WrestleMania.

At one point during his partnership with Heyman, he was billed the “King of Swing.” However, he no longer performed his “Cesaro Swing.” PWInsider has recently published a report as to why that is the case. Its report notes that WWE officials informed Cesaro not to perform his swing for the time being. The company’s reason behind the move is that it was too over with the fans.

Cesaro recently split away from Paul Heyman due to Brock Lesnar returning to face John Cena at “SummerSlam.” Cesaro has remained a heel character, which is why WWE does not want him to get cheered. While Cesaro was once poised to receive a big push in the spring and summer months, his push is now on hold “until needed.”

Editor’s Note

Pretty obvious reasoning for Cesaro no longer doing his swing. However, the company should eventually let him do it again because he needs to work as a babyface. If not his career is down the drain in a manner too similar to Ryback.
