A new advertisement featured on TheGarden.com reveals that Daniel Bryan is to remain WWE World Heavyweight Champion going forward. It also claims that Bryan will defend the title in July against Triple H in a Street Fight.
The advertisement is for a WWE Live Event that will take place on July 12 in Madison Square Garden. The event will be part of the company’s “SummerSlam Heatwave Tour.” The ad was released on May 21, and claims John Cena will face Bray Wyatt in the main event, along with a WrestleMania XXX Rematch pitting Bryan vs. Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
The ad reads,
JOHN CENA VS. BRAY WYATT
DANIEL BRYAN VS. TRIPLE H
– STREET FIGHT MATCH FOR THE WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP –
– WRESTLEMANIA 30 REMATCH! –
SHEAMUS VS. RANDY ORTON

As previously reported, Bryan is schedule to appear on the “Payback” go-home edition of “Monday Night Raw” on May 26. No one knows exactly how the company plans to keep the championship on him throughout the entire month of June if he is not competing, but the preceding card and the proceeding video advertisement confirm that Bryan is expected to continue on as WWE World Heavyweight Champion amiss his injury and defend that title against Triple H on July 12.
Editor’s Note:
Well, it looks like we have a little bit of clarity going forward with Bryan. The weirdest thing about that advertised card is that The Shield aren’t mentioned at all. I’m assuming there must be another house show happening that night, but what stars will be appearing with them? Looks like the big names are all scheduled to be at MSG.
