NXT superstar Corey Graves is set to make an announcement regarding the future of his career during “NXT TakeOver: R Evolution” on Dec. 11. Graves, who has not competed inside of the squared circle for sometime due to multiple concussions, will appear during the program to address his future plans in WWE.
As previously reported, Graves future as a WWE superstar has been in question for some time now. Due to his multiple injuries, he has not been allowed to train or wrestle, but has remained with the promotion in a backstage capacity.
Graves was a featured NXT superstar in the recently released “WWE 2K15” video game, and was being primed for a main roster debut prior to suffering the latest concussion that took him out-of-action indefinitely. The WWE Universe will know more about what’s next for the superstar following his address during “NXT TakeOver: R Evolution” on Dec. 11.
The show will also feature Adrian Neville vs. Sami Zayn for the NXT Championship (which Zayn is heavily favored to win), Finn Balor & Hideo Itami vs. The Ascension (who will likely be moving to the main roster following the event), Sin Cara & Kalisto vs. The Vaudevillains for the NXT Tag Team Championship, Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks for the NXT Women’s title, and the debut of Kevin Steen in WWE (he’ll be known as Kevin Owens during his run in the company).
Editor’s Note:
This show is shaping up to be a must-see event, as all NXT/WWE Network specials have been.
