Conflicting Reports Regarding AJ Lee and the Upcoming European Tour

There are conflicting reports regarding AJ Lee and the upcoming European Tour that WWE will be embarking on beginning May 14. As we previously reported, a recent advertisement featured on WWE.com for the May 19 edition of “Monday Night Raw”, which will take place in London’s O2 Arena, listed AJ Lee as one of the Divas that would be appearing on the show. However, the official site for the O2 Arena has Paige in the same spot that once held Lee’s name in the previous advertisement.

It’s likely that the image of WWE.com‘s advertisement was produced prior to Lee taking a leave of absence, as nothing on WWE.com or the O2 Arena’s official website now claims that Lee will be appearing in any way, shape, or form. F4Wonline.com also reported that Lee was being advertised for the European Tour,  even though the official sites for the European arenas are not officially stating Lee will be a part of any show.

The O2 Arena writes the following as their advertisement for both “Monday Night Raw” and “Smackdown,” which will both be held there on May 19 and 20.

If she’s there, cool. If not, cool. I know Alex Besong was happy to see some “confirmation” on her whereabouts, but for me, I say, meh. It doesn’t matter if she’s there or not. I will say that a program, and I mean a LENGTHY one that’s written well between Paige and Lee would invigorate the Divas division, but I have ZERO reason to believe that that will ever happen, which is why I say “meh.” If she returns, great. If she doesn’t, whatever.
