Estranged WWE superstar CM Punk will appear on “Talking Dead” on March 16. Punk’s alleged upcoming guest hosting duties for the popular AMC “Walking Dead” post show was announced during the March 9 edition of “Talking Dead.” He is being advertised under his real name, Phil Brooks, for the episode.

Punk has not been on any television broadcast or made any public statements regarding his current status with WWE since he supposedly walked out on the company on Jan. 27. While Vince McMahon claims Punk is on “sabbatical,” other superstars have broken silence regarding the matter as of late, with the general feeling in the locker room being that he “no longer works for the company.”

Punk was scheduled to appear on the Comedy Central program “@Midnight” with host Chris Hardwick back February, but was replaced on the show. Now, just a few weeks later, Punk will join Hardwick on his other program, which follows “The Walking Dead” on Sunday nights and recaps the latest episode of the program.

Will Punk address his current situation with World Wrestling Entertainment on the program? Find out by watching “Talking Dead” on AMC, March 16 at 10 p.m.ET.
