According to new advertisements, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar will work a WWE Live Event on Oct. 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York. This will be the third WWE house show, and the second one in the United States, that Lesnar has worked since his return to WWE in 2012.

Lesnar recently appeared during the WWE Live Event in Tokyo, Japan on July 4. Due to his appearance on the card, WWE decided to broadcast the event on the WWE Network and redesigned the entire match line-up due to Lesnar, even naming the event, “Beast in the East.

According to the new ads, both Lesnar and his advocate Paul Heyman will appear during the show. However, his opponent for the show has not yet been announced.

The following matches are being advertised, John Cena vs. Seth Rollins, Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev, and Sheamus vs. Randy Orton. Former WWE Undisputed Champion Chris Jericho is also booked for the event, as well as a number of WWE Divas.

With WWE broadcasting the last Live Event that Lesnar worked, and knowing that the company wants to run more WWE Network exclusive events from house shows, WWE could be planning to broadcast the show live on the WWE Network. We’ll find out more as the event gets closer to bell-time.

Editor’s Note:

It would be smart for them to air this. They’d kind of be dumb not to. Jericho KILLED IT with Neville during the last one. They could get away just promoting Lesnar, Jericho, and the main event of Cena vs. Rollins and get people to watch on the network.
