Big Show may face Kane at “SummerSlam.” As we previously reported, Big Show is set to return to WWE television soon in order to set up a program that will lead him to Aug. 17 and WWE’s annual Summer event. However, Kane may have been outed as the man Big Show will face at “SummerSlam” on July 22, as the two faced off against each other during a Dark Match at the tapings for the July 25 edition of “Smackdown” in Orlando.
Currently, the only matches set in stone for “SummerSlam” by WWE officials seems to be John Cena vs Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Paige vs. AJ Lee for the WWE Divas Championship, Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt vs. Chris Jericho, and Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins. Kane had previously been involved in a storyline involving The Authority, Orton, Cena, and Reigns. However, with Orton tied up with Reigns for “SummerSlam,” and Cena with Lesnar, Kane seems to be the odd man out.
Big Show and Kane have history, and are two big men that have worked well together previously. They were once WWE Tag Team Champions together. Show has had a slew of problems in the past with The Authority, and with Kane being Triple H and Stephanie McMahon’s lap dog, it would be easy to throw Show back into a storyline with Kane and the powers that be.
While this match-up is yet to be confirmed for “SummerSlam,” it is highly likely that the two will face each other if they are included on the card.
Editor’s Note:
Seen it before, but who else are you going to put Show with upon his return? Makes sense.
