F4WOnline.com, among other sources, are reporting that former NXT Champion Big E Langston may be splitting away from Dolph Ziggler and A.J. Lee soon to turn babyface. Original plans that we reported here, consisted of the WWE wanting to turn former World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry face, and have him feud with a heel Langston. However, now that Henry is out with a shoulder injury, the WWE is toying with the idea of pushing Langston as the new face instead.
Reports are also saying that there may possibly be some backstage heat on Henry for taking time off when surgery isn’t necessary, which is why Langston would get the push. His loss on May 23rd’s NXT taping to Bo Dallas for the NXT Title, and his recent 2 losses to Alberto Del Rio are causing an on-air rift between Langston and Lee, and without Ziggler on TV to be the glue between all of the above, storyline is progressing towards Langston ditching Lee and Ziggler to go after some “main roster” gold, such as the IC or World Heavyweight titles. It would be interesting if we saw Langston enter the World Heavyweight Championship “Money in the Bank” ladder match and win, would it not?
