During the latest edition of “Monday Night Raw,” Dave “Batista” Baustista “quit” WWE. Batista made the infamous claim, “I quit,” after requesting a 1-on-1 WWE World Heavyweight Championship match to no avail.
Triple H, Randy Orton, and Batista all appeared at the beginning of the program. The segment was scheduled to be Evolution’s response to getting beat by The Shield at “Payback” on June 1. Batista then stated that he wanted to face Daniel Bryan for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship during the program.
Triple H told him that he would not receive that title shot until Evolution “ends” The Shield. Upon hearing this, Batista said “I quit.” His departure from the company is expected to be storyline related, as Batista is about to start a promotional tour for his upcoming Summer blockbuster film, “Guardians of the Galaxy.”
This would not be the first time Batista said those definitive two words, “I quit.” In a classic heel segment from 2010, Batista left the company and would not work a competitive schedule for WWE again until 2014, when he returned one week before the “Royal Rumble” event. He would go on to win the 30-man Battle Royal during the PPV, and compete in the main event at WrestleMania XXX.

We knew he’d be leaving soon. Looks like it’s now.
