Switch them up. At tonight’s 2023 Crown Jewel event, there were five different championship matches, which featured some incredible wrestling action. Although most championships were retained, there was one that managed to change hands.

Logan Paul defeated Rey Mysterio to win the WWE United States Championship. This marks Paul’s first singles championship within the company.

The finish came when one of Paul’s buddies tried to slip him some brass knuckles to put away Mysterio. Fellow LWO member Santos Escobar stopped him and got the knuckles away from Paul’s lackey, but when Escobar went to chase the flunkie away, he accidentally left the knuckles on the ring apron. Paul would find the knuckles, hit Mysterio in the face with them, and cover him to win the title.

Editor’s Opinion:

This result has a double purpose. First, it gives Paul his first championship in the company; a championship that is deserved as he is by far one of the best superstars that WWE has. Second, it says of the inevitable feud between Escobar and Mysterio, which will give us a series of incredible matches. Bravo, to everyone involved!
