Tonight’s episode of Smackdown Live emanates from the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California. Here’s what we can expect for tonight’s show:

Second-ever Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match to take place tonight on SmackDown LIVE

A controversial finish to the “Money In The Bank” ladder match occurred last weekend, which saw James Ellsworth climb the ladder and then hand the briefcase to Carmella. As a result, Daniel Bryan has ordered that Carmella, along with Natalya, Becky Lynch, Tamina and Charlotte Flair will compete in another MITB match tonight on “Smackdown Live,” with Ellsworth being banned from ringside.

While I don’t agree with this decision, it will be cool to see these great performers go at it one more time. I’m expecting another goofy finish here, with Carmella somehow ending up with the case.

Naomi and Lana face off in SmackDown Women’s Championship rematch

Ask and ye shall receive. In a rematch from “Money In The Bank,” Lana will get another opportunity at the “Smackdown Live” Women’s Championship when she challenges Naomi. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a title change here, but I also think that what happens here depends on when the MITB match is on the show and who the winner is. I’m going with Naomi to retain, but it’s not a 100% lock.

Sami Zayn battles Baron Corbin on SmackDown LIVE

Renewing an old rivalry, Sami Zayn takes on Baron Corbin in a grudge match. Both performers have been outstanding lately, and I expect an awesome contest between two great superstars.

The Hype Bros battle The Usos for a chance to earn a SmackDown Tag Team Title Match

Zack Ryder made his return to WWE programming a couple of weeks ago, and picked up right where he left off with his tag team partner, Mojo Rawley. Tonight, they have an opportunity to earn a “Smackdown Live” Tag Team Championship opportunity, but only if they can defeat the current champions, The Usos.

I’m not sure where they are going with this, since The New Day are still deserving of another title opportunity, due to a count-out victory at “Money In The Bank.” I still think that a heel turn between Ryder and Rawley is coming, and I have to imagine that it’s Ryder that will turn, but we’ll have to see.
