Watch: Top Rope Breaks At WWE Live Event Over The Weekend

Even the professionals aren’t immune to mistakes.

WWE has posted a new video to their YouTube channel in which the top rope broke at a Live Event over the weekend. The incident occurred last night, Sunday, June 24, during a tag team match between Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre & Dolph Ziggler.

Like true professionals, the match continued, and the competitors improvised the sequences that were coming. In the end, Rollins hit Ziggler with The Stomp to pick up the victory.

I actually love that WWE showed this video. Not only does it show that accidents and mistakes can happen at any time in the world of professional wrestling, but it also showed just how good these four competitors are. They were able to quickly make adjustments and finish the match. Plus, this botch gives Corey Graves, Michael Cole and The Coach another thing to make fun of on Raw.
