Pwinsider.com is reporting that Sesugh Uhaa, better known as Uhaa Nation, will be making his official WWE debut at the upcoming “NXT Takeover” special in Brooklyn, New York, on Aug. 21.

Nation, who signed with WWE earlier this year, will be using the name ‘Apollo Crews’, and is expected to make an immediate impact in NXT.  He was last seen on the May 6 edition of NXT, signing a contract with general manager, William Regal.

Nation has been on the independent wrestling scene since 2009. Prior to signing with the WWE, he wrestled for Dragon Gate USA, as well their sister promotion, Dragon Gate, in Japan. It was previously reported that Nation was heading to NXT, after a tryout with the company last fall, and was officially announced to a developmental deal by WWE on Apr. 13 of this year.

The reason for the delay in Nation’s debut is that WWE officials were not sure in what capacity he would be used, or what his ring name would be. Those issues have apparently been resolved, and it appears that we will be seeing Nation sooner rather than later.

Editor’s Note:

I actually do not know much about Uhaa Nation, and have never seen him wrestle.  However, if he is what everyone says he is, this is going to be a great addition to the NXT roster, and I can’t wait to see his debut.
