A top independent wrestling star may be looking for new work in the relatively near future.

In a recent interview done with Solo Wrestling, current Lucha Underground superstar Ricochet revealed that he is no longer under contract with the company. However, he is not able to perform anywhere else as there is under a “no-compete” clause in his current deal, that does not expire until season 3 is complete.

In the interview, Ricochet says that he would like to work for Ring of Honor, but he is “handcuffed” at the moment.

Ricochet made big headlines in the summer of 2016, when he had one of the most talked about matches of the year. He competed against Will Osperay in a contest from the “Best of Super Juniors” series in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Editor’s Note:

I figured that eventually Ricochet would make his way to one of the ‘top 3’ wrestling promotions in the world. Hopefully more of an audience will get to view his amazing in-ring ability, and his career will continue to flourish more than ever!
