15. Major Players Debut in NXT

Samoa Joe

2015 was perhaps the most important year in the history of NXT. Not only did several major superstars make their debut on the main roster (more on that later in this list), but major forces from other promotions made their way to Orlando, Florida, to be a part of the NXT brand.

Apollo Crews, Nia Jax, James Storm, and Samoa Joe were among the biggest names to grace NXT with their presences, and the impact that each has made has been significant in their own way. Most notably would be Samoa Joe taking Finn Balor to the limit at their recent match at “NXT Takeover: London,” where Joe came up just short in his effort to capture the NXT championship.

If this is the caliber of athlete that is wanting to be a part of the future of the industry, then I will be tuning in every week in 2016. Who knows what major names will be making their presence felt at Full Sail University? (*cough cough AJ Styles *cough cough*)
