Nikki Bella Out of Action For All of January

On last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Nikki Bella won the Slammy Award for “Diva of the Year”. Of course, she did. Bella was the WWE Divas Champion for over three-hundred days and was a top heel for the Divas division, but also considered a top heel on the entire WWE roster.

Even though all that hard work paid off with her Slammy win, Nikki is currently on the shelf because all of that hard work took a toll on her body. Her injuries are neck and spinal related and have previously been reported as a potentially career threatening injury.

The latest update on her injury status claimed that Nikki Bella would know by the end of the year when her return date will be. However, that is actually being pushed back even further to late January or early February.

Nikki hasn’t wrestled since October 26th on Monday Night Raw. It’s unfortunate because there is still a lot for her to do in WWE and she will return the top heel in the Divas division. In a lot of ways, she is the identity of the current division, and her absence has forced many other Divas to change their game up.
