Mr. McMahon will announce who controls “Raw” at WWE “Payback”
When Shane McMahon made his return to “Monday Night Raw” on February 22, he asked for one simple thing from his father: to be in control of WWE’s flagship show. Vince agreed, but on one simple condition. All he had to do was defeat The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell at WrestleMania, and “Raw” would be handed over to “Shane-O-Mac.”
Unfortunately, he came up a bit short and was defeated by “The Deadman” on “the grandest stage of them all.”
However, that didn’t stop Shane from making an appearance on “Raw” the following evening, in which he thanked the fans for their support. This led to Vince giving Shane the opportunity to run the show, which he has concurrently done for the last few weeks.
Naturally, this did not sit well with The Authority, and Stephanie made her return to “Raw” this past week. She would go on to announce that her father, Vince McMahon, would decide who would run the show this Sunday at “Payback.”
There have been rumors circulating that a brand split is coming, and perhaps this will be the start of that thought. What will happen this Sunday night, as the McMahon family saga continues?
