Rumor: WWE Talent Interested In Signing With AEW?

This is only a rumor, so take it for what it’s worth. According to Dave Meltzer on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, there are many WWE superstars that are interest in signing with the new wrestling promotion, All Elite Wrestling.

Naturally, these talents will have to wait until their current deals expire, plus there is a “wait and see” period, where they want to check out of AEW is working and would be beneficial for them to jump on board.

One major name to do this was Chris Jericho; you can see that announcement in the video below:

Wrestling Inc. is also reporting that the race to sign new talent has been heating up since the launch of AEW. All the top promotions, including WWE, AEW, NJPW and ROH, are aware of the free agents, and they are making aggressive moves to sign them.

Editor’s Opinion:

Honestly, some of the WWE talent that is not being used properly should sign with AEW and get a fresh start. Some names off of the top of my head include The Revival, Bobby Roode, Zack Ryder, Tamina, and Dana Brooke. I believe that every one of the listed superstars has great potential, and if booked correctly, could be huge stars in the industry.
