This is only a rumor, so take it for what its worth.

According to this week’s edition of the Wrestling Observer NewsletterWWE has considered putting Paul Heyman with Ronda Rousey, should Brock Lesnar leave the company for good. The idea behind it is to keep Heyman with someone who was established in UFC.

The major drawback to this plan is the program that Rousey appears to be entering with Stephanie McMahon for the fall. You can see the encounter between the two from Raw this past week below:

The other drawback to this plan is that Rousey gets such a positive reaction from the crowd; including from the cities that typically tend to boo the faces and cheer the heels.

It had been previously reported that Lesnar was supposed to have a meeting with WWE officials before SummerSlam, but his official status with the company is still unknown at this point.

Editor’s Opinion:

This would be a BAD idea. Rousey has so much momentum going for her right now, that she doesn’t need Heyman to be successful. She is good in the ring and her promo work is getting better each week.
