Last Night, at another Live Event in Wildwood, New Jersey, Reigns officially made his return to in-ring competition, in a match against Kevin Owens. According to WWE.com:
Reigns took on Owens in a hardly fought contest that swept up the WWE Universe on the Jersey shore. Showing no loss in fervor, Reigns was able to weather the storm early from KO and ultimately picked up the victory.
Following the contest, Reigns, feeling the momentum of the victory, addressed WWE cameras backstage with a very concise message — he hopes Ambrose and Rollins are ready for WWE Battleground:
Some strong words from @WWERomanReigns following his big win in #WWEWildwood. Next up…#WWEBattleground pic.twitter.com/FHPdccrC8Y

This was Reigns first match in a WWE ring since being suspended for 30 days, for a violation of their wellness policy. He will be taking on his former brothers in The Shield, Rollins and Ambrose, in a triple threat match for the WWE Championship at “Battleground” this evening.
Editor’s Note:
I’m glad Reigns was able to get one match in before competing in one of the most anticipated matches in recent history. Knocking off some of the “ring rust” is going to be important, going into this triple threat match that is undoubtedly going to be an absolute classic.
