Randy Orton has taken to Twitter to voice his thoughts on the recent controversial issue of sports stars protesting against the national anthem. Earlier this week, “The Viper” responded to a tweet discussing the issue:
If you’re sneering that it doesn’t take courage to raise your fist during the anthem, then you’re one of the reasons why it takes courage.

Sneering? More like shaking my head. Courage? Lol riiiight. Courage. Thats what it takes to stand up and fight, not raise a fist. https://t.co/DqQt11cNmS

His comments continued today, in response to a teacher in North Carolina who was suspended for stomping on an American flag during a history lesson:
Suspends? Should fire his ass! https://t.co/dGV0WqSsq2

It should be noted that Orton spent time in the marines before beginning his career in professional wrestling. However, he was given a Bad-Conduct Discharge after after going absent without leave (AWOL) twice, and also disobeying an order from a commanding officer.
Editor’s Note:
Has anybody out there seen the Saturday Night Live skit “Should You Chime In On This?” That’s exactly how this feels to me. There are some times where it’s just best to keep your mouth closed. This is one of those times.
