It worked so well the last time, why not do it again?

According to a new report from AXSWWE will be holding another “NXT Takeover: WarGames” pay-per-view in 2018. The event will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 17.

You can see a clip from the 2017 event below:

It should be noted that in addition to “WarGames II” being held on Saturday night, the 2018 “Survivor Series” will take place on the following evening from the same location. In addition, both “Raw” and “Smackdown Live” will also emanate from the Staples Center on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.

The first “WarGames” featured such matches as Kassis Ohno vs. Lars Sullivan, Aleister Black vs. Velveteen Dream, Kairi Sane vs. Peyton Royce vs. Nikki Cross vs. Ember Moon, Drew McIntyre vs. Andrade Cien Almas and Sanity vs. Undisputed Era vs. Authors of Pain/Roderick Strong inside of “WarGames.”

Editor’s Note:

YES! I had been a big fan of “War Games” back when WCW ran the pay-per-view in the 1990s. WWE’s version of the event did not disappoint, and I can’t wait for this year’s edition!
