The Pirate Princess is retaking her throne. According to a report from PWInsider, courtesy of PWInsider Elite, Kairi Sane has signed a new deal to make her return to WWE. She should be back with the company in the near future.

Sane debuted in WWE in 2016 when she competed in the Mae Young Classic that year. She would go on to win the tournament and earned a shot at the then vacant NXT Women’s Championship. During her run in NXT, she captured the Women’s Championship and remained there until her main roster debut in 2019. She would form a tag team with Asuka, known as the ‘Kabuki Warriors’. She left the company in December 2021, deciding to return to Japan and compete there.

Since February 2022, she has competed with Stardom and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Editor’s Opinion:

This is awesome! Sane was always one of my favorite performers in WWE and I think she has all the potential in the world to be a star. She has a great look, excellent in-ring abilities, and a wonderful personality. This is a great thing for both her and the company!
