That’s a nice thing to say. Injuries can change all kinds of things in wrestling, including the careers of people who aren’t even hurt. You never know what kind of impact an injury can have on someone else, and it might not even have anything to do with their careers. That seems to be the case again, as a WWE star gave quite the nice thought on an injured fellow wrestler.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Long Time: 40 Year Old Former WWE Star May Face 45 Years In Prison

Dakota Kai has not wrestled since May of this year due to a knee injury. As a result, Kai’s Damage CTRL stable has been turned into a team, with only Bayley and Iyo Sky active. This week on the Bump, Bayley talked about the first year of Damage CTRL, including how proud she is of what the team has accomplished. Bayley went on to say that she loved Kai and was looking forward to Kai’s return so the team can be complete again. There is no word on when Kai will return to action.

It was rather sweet. Check out Bayley’s statement (begins around 56:45), plus the team at full strength:

Opinion: That is a rather sweet thing from Bayley and it is always nice to hear a different side of her like this. Damage CTRL has been a big deal in the last year, even with Kai out of action for a few months now. It should be interesting to see what happens when she is back to full strength, as it could be quite the reunion for the team, assuming Bayley and Sky haven’t turned on each other by then.

What did you think of Bayley’s statement? How did the team’s first year go? Let us know in the comments below.
