She’s back. One of the most exciting things about the Raw after WrestleMania is that it often features returns from superstars who have been out of action for quite a while due because they have been injured.
This was the case tonight, as Nia Jax made her long-awaited return to Raw. She defeated Deonna Purrazzo in a relatively quick match.
Here’s what happened on one of the last major moments that she had on WWE programming:
Jax has been out of action since Wrestlemania 35, due to a double ACL surgery after several months of knee problems. She has been medically cleared to compete for nearly a month, but was not brought back to the company until tonight on Raw.
Editor’s Opinion:
Yes! This is awesome; I am so excited that she is back. She is an incredibly versatile performer and is an outstanding addition to a stacked Raw Women’s Division. Between Jax, Becky Lynch, Shayna Baszler, Asuka and Bianca Belair; we are going to get some fun matches on the red brand. Welcome back, Nia!
