One of the major stories in WWE after over the last few months has been that Dean Ambrose would be leaving the company following WrestleMania 35.

However, many have speculated that this is all a work and that The Lunatic Fringe would, in fact, be staying with the company.

This doesn’t appear to be the case, as WWE sent the following tweet, indicating that his time is actually done:

On Raw tonight, Ambrose was scheduled to face Bobby Lashley in his final official match with the company. However, that did not go as planned, as Lashley attacked Ambrose before the match could begin.

Justin Labar of Wrestling Inc., captured the following video, which includes what appears to be a farewell speech from Ambrose:

Editor’s Opinion:

I’m not sure why WWE chose to have him go out that way, but if Ambrose is officially done, then I hope that it is not forever. Hopefully he can get the rest that he needs, take some time away from the business, and come back in a few years, better and stronger than ever!
