You’ll be appearing in the UK next month as part of WWE’s May tour. Do you enjoy traveling over here?
“I love how excited the fans get, they even cheer the bad guys because of how excited they are to see the Superstars. It’s not that people in the US aren’t excited to see us, they just kind of get spoiled, so when we go over to the UK you can just tell how popular we are in other countries.
Performing at the O2 Arena is really cool too. The crowd are always great there.”
You’ve spoken before about how to deal with abuse on social media, but can you give some advice to your fans who may have dealt with similar issues? What can they do if they’re getting bad messages from people?
“Those people want a reaction and it’s not necessarily that they feel that way, it’s just a desperate attempt to get a reaction out of you. That took me a long time to process that because I can’t imagine saying something hurtful to somebody.”
There will be a 32-woman elimination tournament in WWE later this year. Is this another step in the right direction and who would you like to see take part in it?
“NXT just recruited a bunch of women who I’ve been familiar with prior to them getting signed. so right now I’m looking forward to the company highlighting them in such a big way in the tournament.
I’m excited for the girls who have worked the independents to have their moment in the tournament, and it’s going to be awesome.”
