You hate to hear it. Big E took to Twitter/X to provide an update on his medical condition. In the update, he shared some bad news on the future of his wrestling career.
Big E said the following:
Hey, all! Two-year neck scans are in. Things are unchanged. My C1 has healed fibrously but has not formed new bone. I’m not medically cleared and truthfully, I may never be cleared. But I am blessed to be free of pain, immensely happy, and otherwise healthy. Life is good.

Big E has been out of action since March 11, 2022, when he suffered a neck injury following an overhead belly-t0-belly suplex on the floor by Ridge Holland.
We will continue to provide updates as we are made aware of them.
Editor’s Opinion:
I had a feeling that this news may be coming eventually, and you hate to hear it. He was one of the most talented and entertaining guys on the roster, and I’m sure it’s hard for him to not be able to compete again. I also feel bad for Holland, as I’m sure he never meant for this to happen. I do not doubt that WWE will be able to find something for Big E to do, as he is a very valuable part of the team.
