I hope he’s OK. During a match on this week’s episode of Smackdown, Big E took a nasty bump and appeared to have been seriously injured.

E and Kofi Kingston were teaming up against Sheamus and Ridge Holland. Ridge went for a throw on E and something didn’t quite go right, causing Big E to literally land on his head. You can see a clip of the injury below:

Shortly after, medical personnel attended to him and it was very obvious that something was wrong. Shortly after, a stretcher came out to take Big E to the back. He did manage to give a Thumbs Up as he was being taken away from ringside.

Right after the show concluded, Big E posted the following message to Twitter announcing that he had a broken neck, but that he was feeling fine:

We will continue to monitor this story and provide updates as they become available to us.

Editor’s Opinion:

As soon as I saw that landing, I knew that something was wrong. Usually, wrestlers are pretty good above covering up nasty bumps, but this one looked problematic from the Big E. Our thoughts and prayers are all with him. Get well soon!!!
