She has taken the “Smackdown Live” universe by storm, and made quite a name for herself when she started appearing on television as Harley Quinn from “Suicide Squad.”
When asked by Cleveland.com where she got the idea to portray the infamous Batman villain, Bliss said she’s always been a fan of characters in general. “I am a Harley Quinn fan,” she said. “…And I was like, man wish I could do that stuff. I really want to do a Harley Quinn inspired outfit. So (Buddy Murphy) helped me come up with it.”
Bliss was then asked to sum up her own character. “I love being a villain,” she said. “It’s just so much more fun. Fans like Harley Quinn. I don’t think Alexa Bliss, as a character, cares what people think.”
However, nothing there is nothing make believe about her goals to win the “Smackdown Live” women’s championship from Becky Lynch. She will have that opportunity at “No Mercy” on October 9.
The contract signing on “Smackdown Live” was pretty intense and physical between the two. When asked about it, Bliss said, “We’re not afraid to get personal with each other. We know each other so well, but friendships don’t get you championships.”
Bliss said winning the gold would justify all her hard work. “It would show what we’ve done with NXT and on SmackDown, that the women’s revolution is still going.”
