Push in your chips. On tonight’s episode of Dynamite, Kenny Omega learned who would be challenging him for the AEW Heavyweight Championship at the upcoming Double or Nothing pay-per-view event. However, this didn’t go as he expected them to.
PAC and Orange Cassidy were having a one-on-one match to determine Omega’s challenger. However, after interference from Don Callis and the champion himself, neither superstar was able to answer the referee’s 10-count, declaring the match a no contest.
While Omega and Callis thought that they would have Double or Nothing off, Tony Schiavone informed them that he learned that it will now be a Triple Threat match between Omega, PAC and Cassidy for the title.

Check out what Omega thought about having to face Cassidy from last week’s show:
Editor’s Opinion:
Something about this doesn’t seem right. I will say that Cassidy looked like he took a nasty bump during the match and was knocked out; perhaps he wasn’t able to make it through the match and the referee had to call an audible. Either way, I was hoping that this would be a one-on-one match between Omega and PAC; let’s see what they can do with it.
