John Cena is now the WWE’s latest push, as the perennial superstar is now the WWE Champion yet again after defeating AJ Styles at Royal Rumble. So what’s next for the 12-time holder of the title, especially with Wrestlemania coming around the bend? One would expect big things.

While on one end you have Randy Orton touting that a match between himself and Cena would be a huge draw for the event, WWE creative may be going a different direction entirely. One might also expect a high-profile title defense. But depending on your definition of “big things,” you might have to change your perspective.

Currently circulating throughout the rumor mill is that Cena will team with his real life partner Nikki Bella in a tag team match that will feature fellow couple The Miz and Maryse. It looks to be a possible case of art imitating life in this one.

There looks to be quite the shake-up going into Wrestlemania. Cena was initially expected to face off against Samoa Joe, but apparently now that idea has been shelved for now. Also planned was Seth Rollins against Triple H, but the former’s injury has called that match into question as well.
