The Divas Revolution can’t stop, won’t stop. When select women performers leave the confines of NXT developmental, WWE COO Triple H must replace them on the fly, which may be easier said than done.
She apparently told people close to her that “exciting things are ahead,” although what she meant by that is left open to interpretation.
Reese has a few more bookings scheduled for the month of September, but that could be it for her on the independent circuit if her future does indeed lie with NXT.
A former AIW Women’s Champion, Reese – who turns 27 years old on Aug. 31 – has also competed for SHIMMER, Women Superstars Uncensored, and Shine Wrestling.
Editor’s Note
Let’s hope this is true. Here’s a look at some of the women performers still working consistently in NXT: Bayley, Emma, Dana Brooke, Blue Pants, Alexa Bliss, Eva Marie, and Nia Jax (soon to debut). The depth is dwindling, and I’m sure Triple H understands that. Reese doesn’t have the look of a typical Diva, but who the hell cares if she does? That girl can flat-out go in the ring, and that will take her far if she has signed with the company.
