By all accounts, it appears that World Wrestling Entertainment has ended its working relationship with “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan.
PWInsider’s Dave Meltzer reports that WWE.com was told to “remove all references” to Hogan, no matter how small they may be.
WWE web site told a few hours ago to remove all references to him. That’s all I know so far.

This even includes returning Curtis Axel’s superstar image to his original character, and not the “AxelMania” gimmick he’s been utilizing for several months.
Hogan himself posted the following tweet Friday morning:
In the storm I release control,God and his Universe will sail me where he wants me to be,one love. HH

The meaning behind the message remains to be seen, although it certainly looks like his life/career is going in a different direction.
Hogan has also been removed from the cast listing for “Tough Enough,” indicating that the Hall of Famer will no longer be a judge for the series.
WWEShop.com has pulled all Hogan merchandise, as well.
It’s unknown at this time whether his lawsuit with Gawker is in any way related. Due to the length of the case and how long it’s ben issue, it’s highly doubtful that it is.
There’s rumored to be a video/audio tape circulating of Hogan going on a racial tirade, but that is in no way confirmed.
We here at WrestlingRumors.net will continue to update this story as it develops.
Editor’s Note
*loss for words*
And by “loss,” I mean loss of Hogan. It’s like he’s disappeared. WWE literally wiped him off the face of their Universe. It’s crazy. Whether it’s the trial with Gawker, these leaked tapes, or something else entirely, Hogan has clearly done something terrible enough for the company he helped build to want absolutely nothing to do with him.
