After spending several weeks in a hospital after being diagnosed with double pneumonia, WWE Hall of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts has finally been released.

A mass in his brain was also found during his stay, which is believed to be as a result of his time as a professional wrestler.

During his appearance at the Future of Stars Wrestling show in Las Vegas, Roberts revealed that he is currently battling cancer.

As he did with his addictions to drugs and alcohol, Roberts knows that he can win is battle with cancer.

“If you can beat addiction, you can beat cancer,” Roberts proclaimed to the live crowd.

He then went on to thank World Wrestling Entertainment for their continued support throughout this entire process. They even paid for one of his children to fly out and see him in the hospital.

Diamond Dallas Page and Sinn Bodhi were also thanked for helping save Roberts’ life. Bodhi was recently interviewed by Chuck Carroll on the week’s “Turnbuckle Weekly with Chuck Carroll.”  He mentioned how Roberts’ hospitalization had nothing to do with drug or alcohol abuse.

Editor’s Note

We here at WrestlingRumors.net offer our thoughts and prayers to Roberts as he battles through cancer, hopefully emerging victorious once again. Get well, Jake.
