Paul Heyman, the advocate for “The Beast Incarnate” and former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since the “Monday Night Raw” after WrestleMania 31.
Lesnar was suspended by Stephanie McMahon during the show for attacking several innocent people, including the WWE play-by-play team.
According to F4WOnline.com, it may be a while until we see both Heyman and Lesnar on television again.
The report notes that Heyman will be kept off the shows until July, when Lesnar is expected to make his return as well.
It’s also expected that Lesnar will be thrust right back into the WWE World Heavyweight Championship picture as a challenger for Seth Rollins, should he still be holding on to the gold.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently reported that Lesnar’s first match back will likely be at the “SummerSlam” pay-per-view on August 23 at the Barclays Center.
Editor’s Note
It’s a shame we won’t be able to listen to Heyman’s epic in-ring promos for quite some time, but there’s really no reason for him to be on television without Lesnar. It is what it is. This period will allow other guys, like Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt, to be thrust more in the spotlight.
