WWE on-air personality and announcer Renee Young continues to garner high praise from those running the company.

One of her biggest supporters is Stephanie McMahon, the Chief Brand Officer of World Wrestling Entertainment.

McMahon is encouraging women to have larger and more vital roles in WWE, with Young looked at as one of her pet projects. There is even talk of Young headlining the “Monday Night Raw” announce team in the future, which is a testament to her strong work on the microphone.

Young has been with WWE since October of 2012, making her on-screen debut during “Friday Night SmackDown” on March 13, 2013.

She currently works as a backstage interviewer during “Monday Night Raw,” as well as full-time commentary for both “NXT” and “Superstars.”

Editor’s Note

I’ve followed Young’s work for quite a while now, dating back to her days working at The Score television network here in Toronto. She’s an extremely hard worker and is deserving of every accolade that comes her way.
