As announced on Sept. 28, WWE superstar Roman Reigns will be appearing live in the ring on the Oct. 6 edition of “Monday Night Raw” at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Reigns has been out of action after undergoing emergency surgery to repair an incarcerated hernia. WWE.com made the announcement official on Sept. 20.
It was first believed that Reigns’ interview would take place via satellite, but during a recent interview with Sam Roberts, the 29-year-old let fans know that he will be in the building on Monday night.
“I’ll be in Brooklyn at Raw. Talk to the WWE Universe for a bit and let them know my situation.”
Reigns told Roberts that his return “may be a couple of months away” and that he’s “always thinking about his return.”
This injury forced Reigns to miss his scheduled “Night of Champions” match with Seth Rollins. His last bout with the company was against Rollins the “Raw” prior to the pay-per-view.
Editor’s Note
WWE needs any reason for fans to tune in these days. They’ll be hoping for members of the WWE Universe to tune in and see the fallen Reigns give a health update live on the show.
